There will be two performances of the show Maypoles to Mistletoe, a perennially popular seasonal show returning for its 8th consecutive Christmas at the Electric Theatre in Guildford,Surrey on Mon 19th and Tues 20th December. Featuring some of Sussex's finest singers, dancers, musicians and storytellers, the show has been performed annually for over three decades in its "native" Sussex, where it has become something of a tradition in it's own right.It is a colourful and heartwarming journey in music, story, dance and song through the traditional calendar customs of England - from Candlemas to Christmas, via Easter,May Day, Harvest Home and Hallowe'en - culminating in the singing of carols and, of course,mistletoe!
