Well, well, well...
Everything went great... Seein' as there were bands all over Leesburg tonight playing different places and times. I was able to hook up with a real good lead guitarist who I've played with a couple times in the past and also a decent harp player... They couldn't join me until about 15 minutes into my set but we ended up with the coffeee house packed with folks and we had 'um lit up good...
It was well worth the drive.. A few old friends from the area stopped by to say "Hey" which was real nice... Even my brother, who hates the bvlues, stopped by... I noticed his foot tapping though so maybe he coming 'round...
Sorry you missed it Gut.... You would have a had a blast... With the mix I had, it was way better than the Getaway... Yeah Lonesome EJ was great but havin' a great lead player made the difference....
Ended the set with a bluesified version of Waylong Jennings "Waymore's Blues" in EBEBBE tunin', which always has the other guitar pickers scratchin' their heads...
Oh, the CD is coming along real nice... The mastering should be done this week and then we put Cluin's art work with it and with any luck at all we might have it out by the end of the month... If not, first part of January...
