The majority of the Child ballads are in the DT and I am working on filling in the holes. (Anyone who wants to help me fill in the missing ones is welcome!) We include the Child number with the number sign "#" immediately before the number, so you can search that way, or as usual, for any word or phrase that is distinctive and not subject to varied spellings.

I realize that we lumped several beggar ballads under one Child number (#278ish), mostly because it is not always clear where one Child number stops and another starts. I will make an attempt to sort them out.
