Just seems to me that the richest and most powerful nation on Earth should be giving a lead over this issue (and the pollution issue too) but instead they just witter on about their 'rights' and make excuses about how big their country is, and it's too uncomfortable to do a 3,000 mile drive in a small car. Unfortunately nature doesn't give a rat's arse about the 'rights' of Americans - when the oil's gone, it'll be gone, and no amount of weeping and wailing will cure that. It'll be a feckin' sight more uncomfortable doing that road trip on a bicycle!

Same with global warming - Yanks will starve and drown and die of skin cancer just like the rest of us. You people really must wake up before it's too late. But I reckon you personally know that already?
