Ed Trickett recorded this for Folk Legacy, I recorded it for Outer Green, and there is no telling who else did it. Very well known song. It was, of course, originally Rolling Home to OLD England with a different tune. I remember James Mason singing it in an old black and white movie. It is definitly not a chanty, probably a f'ocsle song or a forebitter.
