You are correct in your post re. pharmaceuticals and the medical profession. My wife works in a medical clinic and my career was in the field as well. Your reference to "free" samples brings to mind what I say to the Dr.'s she works for when they say what a great free lunch they got from the drug rep. I tell them that their lunch wasn't free, it was included in the price that their patients pay for their meds, as are the "free" samples.
