In a bold move to fight the McCain anti torture bill, Dick Cheney has singled out certain McCain provisions that would harm the security of the United States. Anal rape of terrorists is apparently one of those.
Wow, now it is our patriotic duty to analy rape in the name of our Commander and Chief and security of our country.

McCain is hoping to bring US policy back towards the Geneva Convention. The Cheney argument that we need every means possible to fight terrorism always poses the question "What if there is a ticking nuke and the only way to get the terrorist to talk is to torure, rape, force feed pig testicles etc."

It kind of gives a new meaning to sacrifice and patriotic duty. Imagine our brave boys and girls raping in the name of our Commander and Chief. Of course Dick and Goerge can always say "We" don't torture and rape! It depends upon what the meaning of "we" is.

Bush is totally ambiguous when he says we will not stop until there is total VICTORY! I knew what Hitler meant when he called for total war, but what the heck is total victory?

Ya gotta hand it to Cheney for being bold and unambiguous in his support for torture or his statements that deficits don't matter.
Bush has borrowed more money -- $1.05 trillion -- from foreign governments and banks since taking office than all other presidents combined. From 1776 to 2000, the nation's first 42 presidents borrowed a combined $1.01 trillion from foreign interests, official statistics show. In just five years, Bush has out-borrowed them all.
Maybe now he can out rape them all.

In for a penny, in for a pound. When politicians take such an intractable stand, it is perhaps a dirty trick to point out the complete absurdity of their position. Like the time Republicans had to vote down the 2nd Ammendment when Democrats added it to a bill that was certain to fail in the Republican house.

Still it is an eye opener to realize that in Dick Cheney's America, there is now such a thing as actual legal patriotic rape, and not just the virtual rape of our civil rights, the middle class and the poor.
