Interesting show I watched on TV a few years back. Children--aproximately 8-10 years old--were given the info on abduction and inappropriate touching, etc. They were taught in a two-hour (?) course all the things to look out for and the types of situations to avoid. The children were filmed after the course. An actor called various kids over to him when they were leaving the building (if I recall, to his car) and of the dozen or so kids who'd gone through the training, all but two fell for it. The other two moved away and/or called for help in a loud voice. FYI.

It is hard to overcome societal 'rules' of behaviour--respect adults, do as you're told, etc--and then undo that with admonishments and warnings.
