I tried singing it to Tannenbaum, when I was composing it, but for some reason, it didn't fit for me. And I was wondering: What is the litteral translation of "Tannenbaum"? I recognise 'tree' in "-baum," but I don't recognize either "Yule" or "Christ" in "tannen-"... Hmmmm.
