poll taking as practiced is nothing more then manipulation of numbers to get the desired results. In my college statistics class as an excercise we were divided into 6 groups and given poll data and a desired conclusion and told to "prove" statistically that the poll supported the result we were given. All groups had different conclusions - and all were able to apply statistics to prove their results - using the exact same data
