Thread Name: Tech: Paltalk problem: My 'client' not okay
Subject: Tech: Paltalk problem: My 'client' not okay
I frequent Paltalk, and have had what I consider very good sound, both going and coming.
Tonight I tried to sign into a music room, and got an error message more or less to this effect:
The room you selected supports a high-quality sound quality that the client you are using does not support.
And it does not let me into the room. This room had a rather large population in it, one of the largest rooms there, so I'm assuming it's not just the personal hangout of a small number of computer geeks with cutting edge technology.
First, what do they mean by "client you are using"? Is it software on my machine? Hardware on my machine? A setting on my computer? A setting on Paltalk? Something to do with my ISP?
I thought I could get an answer to the above in the Paltalk support rooms, but when I clicked on the support room it refused to open to me.
Wazzamatta? Have I got halitosis (virtual or otherwise) or something?
