It's so cold that when the phone rang at 3a.m. I almost stayed in bed. So cold in that barn at 3:30, that my fingers were blue under the nails. So cold that all the animals were steaming. So cold that the little calf I pulled shook his head, gave a start, and made straight like he wanted to crawl right back where he came from!! So cold that even kat's "Wellies" song produced a faint chuckle, that immediately froze, fell to the ground, and was devoured by a goat. At least IT'S warm now...Elle
