Topper, if you read the blurb on the website you will see that what we are trying to achieve is an outlet for 'local' talent. This is in no way meant to compete with CC but to complement them.

We are providing affordable prices and informal venues, with opportunities for music lovers to see and appreciate the depth of talent that exists in the Glasgow area, most of whom would never get anywhere near a big stage in CC.

It might even bring some new faces forward and if they got a 'big' stage next year at CC or somewhere else, then we would have achieved another ofour aims.
