Thanks to each of you for posting. And to my dear, and treasured 'Spaw, thanks for starting it. I will see our young Union Maid this weekend, and I am sure she will be very surprised. They always are, you know. They never see themselves as I see them. It is often said that we need heroes, that they aren't around anymore. That is so much bull, spread by people that cannot see the forest for the trees. I see heroes like this every day. I have described some of them for you, in the Why We Sing thread, and others. This courageous young lady is just the latest of the many I see. They are out there, people of honor and conviction. We need only look to see them. And teach our children about them.

I have said it before. I love you folks. It is that simple.
