I have been ploughing through her book "Accordion Crimes" since the Autumn (more to do with me not having much time to read as opposed to her style)and I find her stories facinating as well as most harrowing. She must have put in a lot of study regarding various nationalities traditional and ethnic music to complete such a venture.
