I just stumbled across this thread while doing a rainy day net surf for no other reason than pure boredom....anyways

Peter Krug is the father of my best friend from high school (this was around 1979-1982). He is a musician/songwriter/carpenter who had some reknown in the sixties as "the Bay Area Bob Dylan" - I think he wrote a song that was recorded by Country Joe and the Fish. As I recall, he kind of looks like Jerry Garcia (but I only met him a few times 25 years ago -= so that memory may be a confabulation).

The song "Woman with a Chainsaw" appeared on a compilation album titled "Sonoma Soundtrack" around 1979 - Peter really did live in a hand built cabin in a Sonoma enclave called Camp Meeker at the time. AFAIK, he prolly still lives there.
