At some time in the 19th century, a group of Americans hoping to liberate Canada, invaded near Odelltown in Montreal. I know this because I have family of a rather distant sort who settled there, and I made inquiries about the place.
(Didn't find them, though. Any Canadian catters knowing anyone named McFall from Odelltown, tell them they have a cousin in Pittsburgh.)
