I live in an area that has rattlesnakes. A nearby town has a "Rattlesnake Roundup" every year. Snakes are not killed but they are brought in to be weighed and then returned to the spot from which they were taken. Because the snakes are somewhat common in this area, all students in a high school ecology class are taught how to handle snakes and be safe around them. I don't recall ever hearin' about how to safely fiddle with one INSIDE my fiddle though....LOL....dang...can you imagine? All those bow pokes to the head would really piss the snake off.....
