You go, Lizzie! Long live naked singing - that's one of the best designations I have ever heard (although, Joy dear, "archipelago" is pretty wonderful, too! We usually say we sing "acupulco"! !) My chorus Animaterra Women's Chorus does mostly unaccompanied singing, although we've been known to add guitar, piano, accordion, concertina, harp, and/or African-style drumming!

As I write, I'm listening to the Radio Britfolk link- I wish my land-line didn't keep interrupting it (yes, in the US there are still places untouched by high-speed)- this is great music!
