In the second half of the third verse, the following is given above:

A gent was riding by
In a one horse open sleigh,
He laughed as there I sprawling lie,
But quickly drove away.

That should be "lay".   Not only is "lay" the grammatical form that'sappropriate, but it is clearly right by the rhyme scheme.
