Thanks anonymous, as I mentioned before, I could only find one version of The Banks of the Roses on the DT and it wasn't my grandmothers. I still can't pull up any by using a lyric search, as was suggested to me by Dick. The only way I can come uop with the versions is by first letter in the title, a method which I was advised was sometimes problematic. Oh well, thats what you get when you do things when you're stressed out. I would still be interested to know who Hamish Henderson is, the apparent source of this song.
