I definately will go 'bagless' Kaleea .. and a cannister with tools. I'm pretty well sold on the Miele cannister. My wife wants to replace the central but the lugging of the the hoses up and down 4 flights of stairs is more of a nuiscance that a cannister ... also, the central vac machine is located in our garage which I also use as a workshop .. when the vac is switched on the noise is absolutely unbearable. Plus I don't think a central is suitable for such a tall house as ours.
