Seamus: Here's a helpful hint: The next time someone accuses you of not recognizing sarcasm, tell them: "Hey, I did recognize it. I was being sarcastic, too. How come YOU didn't notice?"

But of course a person who is fully committed to sarcasm as a life style would never say such a thing, unless he meant it sarcastically.
