Thanks Masato. I hadn't known it was controversial. I see another site that gives: "born somewhere between 1891-1901. Because throughout her life she was dishonest about her age no one is quite sure of her year of birth."   But I'm outside even that range. I think I'll go by the Lib of Congress date in future. Reminds me of my grandmother. She lived to a few months shy of her 100th birthday. We had a big party for her at 95. She said she didn't know what all the fuss was about - she was only 92!
