About 4 weeks ago, I recently purchases a new CD Player, the Sharp MP-130 Microsystem. I have been using it to play regular CDs that I have purchased as well as MP3 files that I have downloaded from the internet in MP3 format and burnt on to a CD. Suddenly tonight, the player no longer recognizes the MP3 discs that I have burnt. The message flashing on the screen reads "no disc". I took the disc out and tried it in my old Sony player and it works fine. I then tried some of the other MP3 discs that I have with the same results. Can anybody diagnose this problem for me ? I could undersand if the player would not recognize the discs to begin with but this is not the case. Why would it stop recognizing the very same discs that it has played regularly for the past month ?
