I actually contacted Rhoddas - the makers of the good stuff - who tell me that, at the moment, they are not allowed to import fresh clotted cream to the USA. They are hoping that situation may change before too long. They sell clotted cream in boxes and tubs and it comes with a yellow crust, which shows that it has been poured straight into the packaging. Total ambrosia!
