Thread Name: BS: Bush the Liar.
Subject: RE: BS: Bush the Liar.
Teribus denies that the sun is hot:

What "outrageous and obvious lie" has been told?

Posted above. Vebatim. And with a link to the White House web page so you can't deny the authenticity (unless, perhaps, you'd think the White House might be filled with liars....).

Before you answer take a look at:

- What Saddam and his regime agreed to comply with at Safwan and what then transpired.

WTF does that have to do with the price of tea in Sri Lanka?

- The UN "niceties" that have to be observed.

Ditto last comment.

- Please cite the occasions between December 1998 and June 2002 when Iraq invited the return of the UNSCOM/UNMOVIC inspection teams and the resumption of supervision and verification of Iraq's disarmament in accordance with outstanding UN Security Council Resolutions.

Hate to have to point out the obvious to the disingenuous, but Dubya The Liar didn't say:

"[W]e gave [Saddam] a chance to allow the inspectors in between December 1998 and June 2002, and he wouldn't invite them in." So then, Senor Quixote, when you've decided you've finished your tilting at the windmills of your mind, and are now ready to joust on the plain of actual discussion of facts, maybe we can talk about how your apologetics for Dubya's f***ups makes Clinton's "depends on what the meaining of 'is' is" look like a model of clarity and forthrightness (not to mention, what Clinton said was in fact technically accurate and at least should have been helpful to his questioners, who were at least put on guard as to whether "was" or "is" may have been better suited to the question proffered).

Dubya said "he [Saddam] wouldn't let them [the inspectors] in". That is false. Saddam did let the inspectors in. No other way to put it, Teribus.

Cheers,
