Another vote for Solas, and Karan Casey, and Capercaillie (Scottish like some of the other bands named above ie Battlefield Band). Lunasa are also wonderful (all instrumental though)....

Gaelic Storm (first CD) is also great fun, (they were the Irish band in the Titanic movie)... 2nd CD is good although I prefer the first...

If you want something a bit weirder try the Afro Celt Sound System, (african rhythms mixed with Irish instruments)... you'll either love it or hate it!
