As in songwriter (and teacher) Adam McNaughton's Reader's Digest condensed version of Hamlet that he put together to try and get the little tykes interested in Shakespeare....

When Iain Mackintosh sings this, he does it in a rapid-fire version that gets it down to just a few deep breaths' worth....

Maybe such sublime efforts as McNaughton's make up in part for the terminal length of some of the Child balladry....
