Thanks, folks. Actually, I phrased the question in the first person for simplicity's sake. I was aksing on behalf of a friend who doesn't have broadband access nor the funds to support anything more than an inexpensive phone access ISP. My own access is by way of satellite, which, if expense weren't such an important factor, I would have recommended to my friend.
