Disney employees go through training (or at least used to) that teaches one how to answer the most obvious question without making the guest feel like an idiot. There are other official responses as well. My guess is that was the official response.

When I worked in the Magic Kingdom I was asked the following question at least once a week: "When is the 3 o'clock parade?" You try answering that with a pleasant answer...
