I think it's a beautiful song - thanks for telling us the story behind it, Genie; and how lovely to be linked to your mum through this song, Penny, in your dream.
I always associate this song with Noel Coward's play "Blithe Spirit" - This is what is played on the gramophone when the spirit of Elvira, the first Mrs. Condomine, re-appears. Just the right choice of song for the scene !
