1957 appears to have been THE year for truly lousy sci-fi and horror movies. It was a cultural watershed.

The one with the tackiest title was "I Was A Teenage Werewolf", but as a movie it actually was pretty good. It had some great scary scenes and not a bad script either. Good acting by Michael Landon. The title was designed to bring hordes of teenagers to the movie, and succeeded admirably. They made a 900% profit on the film.
