To put it simply ... we get what we voted in.

I am speaking of democratic nations specifically. And that's the way it should be .... not saying I like what I see voted in, but the majority obviously wanted it that way. So ... yes, the majority gets what it deserves. If society has a shitty way of looking at life ... it's wants are the cheapest goods to be bought, they ignore the environment for want of things, they ignore the plight of the humanist side of life for the want of things, well, they get what they deserve.
