Jeez Bruce, sounds just like upstate New York- except that there on top of the Federal gov't cuts in services, arsehole Republican (surprise!) Gov. George Pataki [what the hell IS it with that name George?? ] has enacted STATE cuts every year during his tenure, most recently in medical care for the poor.
