gnu ... I just checked with my wife ... she said it's the fifth bead clockwise .... or did she say the fifth bead counter clockwise??
I'll go and check with her again and get back to ya.
LH ... it was also a time of no seat belts, asbestos insulation, lead based paint, lead based regular gas, (not only where the toy soldiers lead), the woman's place was in the home, everyone smoked, and they smoke just about everywhere, lethal chemicals were dumped anywhere, subtle segregation (yup, also here in Canada too, ever here of Africaville in Nova Scotia, Japanese out in B.C.), rampant poverty in the north, and in the maritimes, our government's mistreatment of it's First Nations back then. All in all things have gotten somewhat better since Mr. Average Canadian voter ... today, unfortuantely we have an 'each person for themselves' evolving attitude.
