Mudcat's own Seamus Kennedy has a very good album on which every song is about roses. It appears to be out of print, but I'm sure he would work with any interested party to get a copy.

Australia's John Williamson has a nice song called "Purple Roses."

Gareth and Liz the Squeak, I glad to discover two more apparent Wurzel fans! It is so hard for us here in the middle of America (Missouri) to "discover" and get our hands on some of the less well known treasures of English/Irish/Scottish/Welsh music---like Shag Conners and the Carrot Crunchers!
