Thanks, Nancy, for the PDC (pretty darn clear) explanation of 'policy', such as it is. When we visited the new camp, we asked about alcohol, just to be clear...the exact quote was "we'd rather you didn't." Now, I don't know if that was a tacit admission that they know 'it happens anyway', but it was a clear statement that the Methodists do not sanction it. I doubt they conduct late night cabin inspections...*grin*...but we do NOT want to get on the wrong side of them. As time approaches, we will no doubt clarify this and refer to the clarification, so NO one arrives thinking they can have a bottle on the table at supper...we got pretty spoiled the last 5 years.

One of the hardest things for those who MUST have their beer, etc...is having to "take out what you bring in"...that means, NO empties in camp trash bins...
