You'll have to cut Martin some slack. The RW "spinners" and sycophants are having a rough time of it nowadays, and are prone to irritation at the fact their incompetency, crimes, and frauds are becoming blindingly obvious. They see the house of cards starting to tumble down, and are a bit paniced at the prospect that they will be the laughing stock for decades (if not amongst those that are imprisoned). And you'll have to excuse Martin's lack of scholarship; he's been told for quite a while that the only "truth" he needs to pay attention to comes from the likes of Limbaugh, Hannity ... and Scottie McClellan. It's rather sad, but they dug their own hole, so my sympathy for them is in somewhat sholrt supply.
