I'm bereft, absolutely hopelessly, I tell you, so glad someone feels my pain, sniff.

I don't know if I could get away with "spiffin", but "splendid" has a certain appeal. I'm concerned, though, what if I were to become fashionable again, could I, or the rest of civilization, take it?
