Why is everybody saying "absolutely" all the time?

Everybody's not! At most, "absolutely" is regularly said by about 500,000,000 people. Given that the world's population is about 5,000,000,000 people, that's only one out of every ten people saying "absolutely". The other nine out of ten are saying "absolument", "absolutamente", "absolut" or about a hundred other words that aren't even written in the same alphabet we use. Believe me, there are millions of rice farmers in Cambodia and Laos who've never said "absolutely".
