Al Tend to agree with LF. Not much around on a Friday/Saturday. Strange that. However I have found one interesting possibilty for Saturday, but it isn't a singers night. The place might be a problem if Denise is with you as its upstairs.
The Cellar Upstairs Folk Club The club meets on Saturdays at 8.15pm at the Exmouth Arms, Starcross Street, London NW1 1HR (on the corner of Cobourg Street, near Euston and Euston Square stations). http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=529323&y=182608&z=1&sv=Starcross+Street&st=1&tl=Starcross+Street,+NW1&searchp=newsearch. The club room is up a short staircase; wheelchair users have to be carried. Entrance: £5 (unwaged £4). Information: 020 7281 7700. With the introduction of the new licensing act you no longer have to be a member to attend the club.
January 28th: Chris Coe and John Adams great singing and musicianship on a variety of instruments;songs including wonderful ballads; possibly clog dancing
I think you can get a fast train to Euston from Slough
It might be better than sitting around picking yer nose M8 :-) If you give em a ring, maybe they would let you be the support act!!!!!!!
