I may be totally wrong , but I thought Flook started out as a Flute band, a couple of years ago. There were three flute players from, I think different traditions, with one of them being Michael McGoldrick from Manchester. Michael was the BBC young folk musician of the year a couple of years back. He used to play with a band called Toss The Feathers, who were the best Irish band ever to come out of Manchester. I don't know if he's still with Flook.
