This is how great masses of largely unaware people are manuevered into great human tragedies for the benefit of a chosen few. A provocation is found (or manufactured), a violent response is triggered, an impression is created in the minds of the public at home and abroad, battle lines are drawn, and eventually another carefully planned war is launched.
