Sandra-
I'm pleased that this CD finally resurfaced at your door in Oz. Perhaps, it had been making the rounds amongst the customs staff for a few weeks so that it could be properly evaluated. Some of them may have had grave doubts about the appro priateness of some of the lyrics for innocent ears. There is that ditty about the old she-crab, for example, and the tales of Dr. Dogbody, even in their condensed lyrical form, challenge the boundary between truth and fiction. And there may have been public health concerns (or at least concerns about good taste) raised as poor old Bendigo floated to the top of the cider vat; it stands to reason if some credulous, or demented, person hears such a song they'd begin to wonder if such a brew might indeed be very powerful!
I do wonder if any more of the half dozen or so CD's made it to their targets in Oz and the UK. I should have known better than to send them out over a major holiday.
