I can see it. If you manage to shove this stuff down, you won't eat the "bad stuff" because you'll want to get off the program as fast as possible.
Anyway. I am going to try to stick with it, with some modifications, for a week or two and follow it by trying to modify my diet for life as per your kind posts. After I finish the two packages of chip dip left over from the Superbowl party, no more chips. I might even consider light beer. Nahhh, I'd rather be fat than sober. (C'mon, give a little. It took me a while to set that one up, eh.)
Seriously, I have been fat for about five years of my 48 years. Before that, though pleasantly plump for about the same amount of time, I could still lick my weight in wildcats. But, early last summer, I had an operation that severly curtailed my normal activities for about six months and I gained more weight. The combination has caused a rapid decline in my fitness.
So, I am still soliciting diet tips, recipes, whatever, and I thank all of you again for helping me by sharing your knowledge. Of course, fat jokes are welcome also... I saw an old girlfriend the other day. She said, in shock, "Gosh, you use to have beautiful wavy hair and now it's all beach." I said, "My dear, come here and let me put my arms half way around ya!"
