   We might understand better if we were really prepared to look into our own selves, our own fear, anger, revengefulness, insecurity dressed as power etc. etc. etc.

   We might better deal with the world if we really understood how it functions, how it works. In fact if we made being well informed a priority. (I hope I'm hearing myself).

   Until we are all prepared to do that then we (rather then "THEY") will continue to believe fervently that violence(in all its forms all the way down to insult), force and so on are any kind of answer.
