I don't know any Boy Scouts who read Mark Trail. We were always reading things we weren't supposed to read, mostly X-rated comics (nothing to do with X-men).
The most boring comic ever in history was Archie and Veronica. They were NEVER funny, and they have continued to be NEVER funny. The only funny thing was that weird sideways walk with the twisted feet and the twisted arms.
