When my father was young - if he did wrong - he was told by his uncle Ted that the chauffeur would 'get im'. My father had no idea what a chauffeur was but became terrified at the very sound of the word. He built this mental picture of how this vengeful chauffeur may appear and what truly awful he may be capable of.............
