You are speaking in riddles JohnB. I've only just spotted your previous post from January, by the way: dont quite know where to begin to answer, there's a lot of English tunes knocking around. All I know is the most widely known English fiddle tune is Soldiers Joy, followed by the Sailor's (or College) Hornpipe. While, I jus made that fact up, but it could well be true.
As to what your last post meant, the Lord alone knows, and he ain't tellin'
I will say that we quite frequently sing The Sloop John B at sessions, but that's another question. Or possibly answer.
